Today, I'm thankful for roads and sidewalks and metro systems and highways and byways.
NOLA may have really crappy roads that desperately need repair, and Atlanta's roads may have waaaaay too much traffic (plus, MARTA sucks), and highways sure can get boring on long road trips
BUT
our lives are immeasurably easier and better because of them.
I'm adventurous, and I love taking the road less traveled by, but for all the other days when cutting straight across the field of cotton is out of the question, I'm grateful for ugly, cracked pavement.
