NaBloPoMo: Day 26 "1SE"

I mentioned in an earlier post that I've been using an app called  "1 Second Everyday" (1SE) to record one second of each day. (Since September, anyways.) The first two months I just created random compilations of daily clips. It was fun, but I've since decided to be a little more creative and choose a theme for each month that I use 1SE.

For November, I'm doing "1 Word Everday- 1 Second Everyday," which just means I say a word (occasionally 2...) to the camera and have my face in the image. The results are much more interesting (I think) than just random imagery, so I definitely plan on sticking to the theme idea.

When my friend Frank was here for a visit, he helped me come up with the theme for December! It's going to be a 31-word long poem, with 1 word filmed each day. I've already started brainstorming ideas for the poem, and I think it'll be a fun month. :D

You can help! If you post a word in the comments section below, I'll use it in my poem. Seriously. (Inappropriate language excepted) Go on, throw me your favorite linguistic locution. I dare you, and accept your subsequent dare responses.

What's that? You're dying to see the 1SE videos I've made so far? Well, alright, I'll post them for you.

Here's my video for September (Sorry the quality is so terrible, these vids get better with time....Sorta):

For October, a few of the nagging issues from September were partially resolved - Sound issues didn't come up, and the black borders almost completely vanished - but the videos become more pixelated as a result. Since I'm filming all these clips on my phone (and love the simplicity of doing it on my phone as opposed to uploading to computers and downloading, etc), my options for filming quality are currently limited. If you have any tips on how to solve the resolution quality issue, let me know!

November is almost over - only 4 more days! - and I plan on posting my Nov 1SE video on day 30, just for you folks.

And that's it for today: Carpe November!

p.s. Abs, incomplete. Ok, so I DID all my crunches today! YAYY! I also finished planks and leg lifts, but wimped out on the final 100 of my situps. I'll catch up on them tomorrow. Really.
Squats, CHECK.
Minimalism, incomplete. But I did the challenge from yesterday that I missed (I organized the hall cabinet and threw out many unnecessary things! Go me!), so I'm not couting it a complete miss. I'm just running a day behind on this one. :) Today I was supposed to organize my electronics, and this DOES need to happen. We have 3 drawers in Adam's desk dedicated to wires and cords and sundry electronic appliances, and they could definitely use an organizing touch.
