Today, I'm thankful for 76-degree, sunny weather on our day off and for a job that provides us with everything we need and want: knowledge, money, lodging, fair treatment and opportunities for growth.
ALSO: coffee shops that provide free wi-fi and have outdoor seating. My scooter, Jem. Fedex being super speedy. Redbox rentals. Wal-mart having temporary Spiderman tattoos. Free birthday dinners. Desserts without nuts. Free public parks available for afternoon naps. Naps.

A month of thankful
November is my last full month in New Orleans (!!).
Today, I'm thankful that my husband is getting better (and housekeeper, too!) and that tomorrow is our day off, and that Voodoo Fest is over.
